A PEEK IN MY LIFE

To start with, in my family, I’m the 3rd of 4 kids...

My poor mom.

Way back when, I was born and raised in gorgeous Colorado. In my 20's, I left an incredible job at an oil company in Denver to become a flight attendant. I landed in San Diego, where I met my forever friends.

After four glorious years there, I eventually moved to Key Largo, Florida, where the loves of my life... Jack, my husband, and his two AMAZING, loving daughters, Tiffany & Nicole came into my life.

Jack and I were blessed with a third beautiful, kind & intelligent daughter, Jacqueline—yep JAQ is her nickname—in 2002.

After building another group of forever friends while living in the crazy fun Florida Keys for more than 25 years, we made the big move to the tropical paradise of Hawaii.

To be a bit more centralized and close to my sibs, we ended up moving to our home in Winter Park, Colorado. All of these amazing places will forever hold a smile in our hearts.

Writing is what gives me joy. So, I write for everyone.

Here are the "stories" behind

each genre I write.

COZY MYSTERY SERIES

ALLERGIES OVER THE ATLANTIC and its upcoming sequel, BUNIONS INTO BOSTON, were written because of the horrific events of 9/11 way back in 2001. The world of aviation dramatically changed and, as a flight attendant, my coping mechanism kicked in through writing and humor.

Both books in this series touch on some of my hilarious experiences in the air. (You can NOT make up the things flight attendants see and deal with while working.) They also include the crazy lifestyle you can only find in the Florida Keys... including bubbly laughs underwater while scuba diving.

(My husband and I owned a dive shop at the same time we were working with the airlines!)

ROMANCE NOVELS

Both of these books are based in Colorado.

Although my first-ever romance book, PRINCE ON A WHITE BIKE, is tucked away somewhere,

MOUNTAINS OF DOUGH has won 1st place in two competitions.

Let's face it, Colorado is inspiring.

We love it here. My amazing siblings are all close by, and we still (occasionally) take on the ski slopes.

(Honestly, at this age, I only ski when I have a shot of Schnapps to get me down the slopes .😂)

I also find I write a lot in my DARLING little office by the creek.

JAQ’S WACKY DREAMS, was created when Jaq literally began to "dread going to bed" because she'd have severe nightmares. We eventually solved this by cuddling with her at night and going through the fun/silly details of her day, which made her relax and feel better about closing her beautiful eyes.

This is when I created JAQ’S WACKY DREAMS, a fun series about a little girl who gets into mischief during the day, but her life really kicks in when she tucks into bed, and her days' events always turn into crazy fun dreams.

THE PUPPY TOOTH FAIRY series evolved when Jacqueline lost her first tooth and we brought home a puppy around the same time. Jaq wondered if puppies had Tooth Fairies too?
